Researching family history is a popular pastime but can seem overwhelming when you’re first getting started. Learn the basics of researching the right way to track down some of those family mysteries.

Nicole Adams is the Local History and Genealogy Librarian at the Oshawa Public Libraries and oversees the Local History Room collection housed at the McLaughlin Branch in downtown Oshawa. She has worked in public libraries for over 20 years and brings a love of history and solving puzzles to her work in helping others find links to their family and community history.
