Bird Watching

Location:  Thickson's Woods Land Trust

Thickson's Woods is one of the best birding hot spots in Durham Region.    We will look for fall warblers and other migrants.  

Meet:  At the waterfront trail entrance.

Directions:  Take the 401 west to Thickson Road.   Head south on Thickson Road to almost the very end of the road.  The entrance is on the left hand side of the road where the Waterfront trail starts to head east off the road.  You may park on the side of the road.  If there a lot of cars you may also park in the lot at the end of the road.  From the parking lot you need to walk north to the gate to meet us.
