Ted Barris has written 20 non-fiction books including best sellers about Canadians during both the First and Second World Wars, the Korean War and the war in Afghanistan.. In November, he will share his most recent book on the Battle of Britain. Ted brings a uniquely personal perspective to one of the most important battles of the Second World War by focusing on individuals who were actually there - aviators, ground crew and civilians.
A multi award-winning author, historian, broadcaster, journalist, speaker and educator, Ted’s awards and accomplishments in these fields are too numerous to mention. He was inducted into the Order of Canada in 2022.for his many outstanding contributions in the above fields. He has been our guest previously and spoke to us about the Battle of the Atlantic.
