   We will be looking for warblers in the Thickson Woods Land Trust.  This is a hot spot for migrating warblers.  We will walk along the road, trails and meadow.

  Directions:  take highway 401 westbound to Thickson Road, Whitby.  Head south on Thickson Road to the end.  You may either park in the parking lot at the end or along the road.  

  Meeting spot:  entrance to Thickson Woods is on your left east side of the road before the parking lot.  

  Note:  there are no washroom facilities

  Back by popular demand.  We will hike the meadow of Enniskillen Conservation area.  

  Location:  Enniskillen Conservation Area.  Main parking lot.  Note:  parking is $6.00 and only credit cards are accepted at the machines.

  Enniskillen is noted  for the nesting endangered Bobolink in the meadow.  The meadow also has Tree Swallows, Blue Birds and House Wrens in the nesting boxes.  In the past we also had good looks at  Indigo Bunting.  After the walk members may want to visit the Enniskillen General Store for ice cream.
